Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by JustStart Limited ("JustStart", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, venture studio services, tools, and programmes.

By accessing our website, requesting an intro call, or registering for any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

JustStart offers the following services:

• Intro calls: a free, no-obligation conversation about your venture idea. Requesting one places you under no commitment and commits us to nothing beyond the call itself.
• Venture studio engagements: hands-on work with you to validate, build, launch, and grow a venture. The scope, duration, deliverables, fees, and ownership arrangements of any engagement are agreed in a separate written agreement between you and JustStart before work begins. Nothing on our website constitutes an offer to enter into such an engagement.
• Free tools: the Readiness Assessment and Idea Scorecard, available at no charge.

We have also previously offered structured programmes, described in section 3 below. These are not currently open for enrolment.

3. Programmes

The following programmes are not currently open for enrolment. They are described here because these Terms continue to apply to anyone who registered for or purchased them while they were available, and because we may offer them again.

• Free Masterclass: a 60-minute live session on the psychology of starting and validation-first methodology.
• Leap Sprint: a 5-day intensive validation challenge with daily sessions, templates, and frameworks. Available in General Admission and Premium tiers.
• Leap Bootcamp: an 8-week programme taking you from validated idea to working product.

Where these Terms refer to programmes, participants, or cohorts, those provisions apply only to programmes we are actually running at the relevant time.

4. Registration and Accounts

To request an intro call, use certain tools, or access certain services, you must provide accurate and complete information. Where account credentials are issued, you are responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to request an intro call or register for our services. By submitting a request or registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

5. Payments and Pricing

• All prices are displayed in GBP and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings.
• Fees for venture studio engagements are not published on this website. They are agreed with you individually and set out in the written agreement for that engagement, which takes precedence over this section in the event of any conflict.

6. Refund Policy

The following applies to programme places purchased while that programme was open for enrolment. Refunds and termination for venture studio engagements are governed by the written agreement for that engagement, not by this section.

• Leap Sprint, General Admission: full refund available if requested at least 48 hours before the programme start date.
• Leap Sprint, Premium: full refund available if requested at least 48 hours before the programme start date.
• Upgrades: upgrade payments from General to Premium are non-refundable once the Premium materials have been accessed.
• Masterclass and free tools: these are provided at no cost and are not subject to refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, within our free tools, and within our programmes, including text, graphics, logos, templates, frameworks, session recordings, and course materials, is the intellectual property of JustStart Limited and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Intellectual property created during a venture studio engagement is dealt with in the written agreement for that engagement, not by this section.

• You may use programme materials for your personal, non-commercial venture-building purposes only.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
• Session recordings (available to Premium participants) are for personal use only and may not be shared or redistributed.

8. User Conduct

When using our services, you agree not to:

• Use our platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Share your account access or programme materials with third parties.
• Engage in behaviour that is abusive, harassing, or disruptive to other participants or our team.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from our website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, without refund.

9. Disclaimers

• Our services provide practical support, frameworks, and guidance for validating and building a venture. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue, funding, or success, whether through a programme or a venture studio engagement.
• Views expressed on an intro call, in our free tools, or in our content are for general information only and do not constitute professional business, legal, financial, or investment advice.
• Any business decisions you make remain your own responsibility, and you retain ownership of and responsibility for your venture unless a written agreement between us says otherwise.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustStart Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Programme Changes and Cancellations

We reserve the right to modify programme schedules, content, or formats. If we cancel a programme, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future cohort.

We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to scheduled programmes.

12. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments) and Supabase (data storage). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
